Ellie has recently been very social. When she sees someone, she'll say HIIII. When she sees a child she wants to play with, she'll walk up to them and say HIIII. It is the most adorable thing, but I couldn't put my finger on quite why. Grandma finally pointed out that she says HI with a southern accent. It's long and drawn out. HIIII. I wonder where she got that from.

Aw, how cute! I hope I get to hear it on Friday. We're still on, right? Any thoughts on what you want to do?

I think you *may* be too late already. This weekend she has switched to many multiple short "hi"s because she realized that people will repeat her. She'll run into the room and say "Hi!" and who ever is there will say "Hi!" Then she says "HI!" and it goes back and forth for a while.
Yes I believe we're still on this Friday, though it snuck up on me and I haven't told my husband yet. Maybe dinner and a movie? A girly movie? Maybe Mama Mia?
Oh yeah. Dinner and a movie sound wonderful. I've seen Mamma Mia, but I liked it and would be happy to see it again (really). I could get to the Longmont/Boulder area around 6:30 or 7. We should probably call or e-mail Miss, though... I don't think she's reading these comments. =)
I will email both of you soon, but I don't have a phone anymore. I am hoping to order one today but who knows when it will come in. I'll email you soon.
