Mommy: Ellie, what do you want to do for your birthday party?
Ellie: I want to go to Mid Air Adventures where they have those big swings and zip lines!
Mommy: Ok, that means we can invite 6 friends to your party. Who do you want to come?
Ellie: I mostly want my sister, Addie, to come. And she is going to want to bring a friend so I guess that leaves 4 more for me.

Seriously??? These two have it. The bond between sisters.

At the party itself, Addie was too nervous to do the swings or zip lines until Ellie went with her to show her that it was safe. Afterwards, Addie was a pro and kept her friend Julia safe on the swing just like her sister kept her safe. So cute.

Rumor has it that when Nana dropped off the girls after a trip to the zoo, it was nap time. Ellie insisted on putting Addie to bed herself. She went to Addie's cubby and got her blanket and Bun Bun Bear. Then She laid Addie down on her mat, tucked her in with her blanket and gave her a hug and a kiss good night. Ellie did not want Nana's help, so she just sat back and watched. Addie loved it. Ellie loved it. It was the sweetest thing ever, especially the kiss at the end.

I'm telling you, this girl is an amazing sister. It was a big feat for her to save for the first horse since she has the potential of earning a maximum of 8 quarters in any given week (Ha! Like that's ever going to happen), let alone her offering to do it again for Addie's sake!

There was something about seeing how upset Ellie was after realizing she hurt her sister... it was heart-breaking.
