Though I've been calling her "Kindergarten Ellie" since she turned 5, and she had her preschool graduation a couple months ago, today is technically the last day of preschool for my Ellie. This morning she informed me "Mommy, today is a special day for me because I get to hear about why everyone will miss me."
Apparently when it's someone's last day, the entire class takes turns to tell them how they will be missed. Quite honestly I think it's a nice tradition. I know Ellie is looking forward to hearing the compliments!
