Our last Starbucks

We got Starbucks the other day and it was the first time that Ellie demanded to have some. Me, being the intelligent type of mother, had a brilliant idea! Why not let her try it? She'll hate the taste of coffee. What self-respecting toddler likes coffee?

This one.

On the up side, if you pump her full with a couple of these before a hike she'll be wide awake the whole time. No more of that lame (albeit terribly cute) falling asleep in her backpack.

Hahaha. Heck, let's just forget about the backpack completely. We don't need it! With that kind of energy, Ellie can walk herself!

Or, if she's like our kids (who incidentally, also really like coffee) she can power a generator to provide electricity to a small town.

I am beginning to see the signs of such energy. It amazes me how she can go and go and go until I force her to remember that she's tired. Then she crashes. It's truly amazing. Maybe they should figure out a way to harvest that energy for replacing gasoline? Wait... maybe not. That sounded like I was suggesting toddler-labor. Hmmm...
