Sick baby

My precious little thing is sick. She had a bad fever yesterday and we were called in to pick her up early. When I showed up, she was just lying there on the floor, not asleep but definitely in a zombie-like state. She didn't even really respond to me when she saw me. There was NO question what-so-ever that she wasn't feeling good.

Poor little thing. I wish there was something I could do to help her feel better.

Luckily, though, she seemed in better spirits this morning so maybe she'll learn that playing hookie from school means a fun day with the grandmas! At the very least, she gets to wear her PJs all day!
