You know the saying "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" I think they got it wrong. When Ellie is unhappy and cranky it makes for a completely different evening experience, one that is way over-rated.
Hmmm... I think the momma has much more influence on the happiness of the family than the kids. But maybe I'm wrong. Of course, I'm 100% certain that the daddy has absolutely no influence.
I know that my family tends to get super grumpy when we're hungry. Ellie is no different, though the fact that she doesn't eat much for us makes it hard to avoid the situation sometimes.

Hehehe... I think you bring up a good point that no one can argue with.
I could actually plot on a graph my son's attitude at 6pm vs. hours of sleep the previous night. But then again, same could be said about me as well.
